The USA Chefs’ Contest has come to an end and we’re very proud to announce our winner – Chef Ray England of Craft in Los Angeles.
Ray has been using Ōra King for some time and has been a great advocate for the product. We’re thrilled to be able to host him down in New Zealand.
The response from all the chefs who participated was fantastic and we were very grateful to see the support, enthusiasm and fantastic photos. Ōra King will soon be celebrating its second anniversary in the US and our hard working team in New Zealand is always keen to hear stories and see photos from some of the best restaurants in the US proudly serving Ōra King salmon.
Next stop is New Zealand… we leave in mid-October, along with our 2013 Ōra King “Best International Ambassador”, Chef Matt Lambert of The Musket Room. We’ll join a contingent of New Zealand and Australian chefs for a week of foraging, farm tours, boating, winery visits, and of course a bit of time to enjoy some of New Zealand’s fantastic food and wine.
